Today Domingo and I celebrate our tenth anniversary. Being a numbers kind of gal I thought it would be fun to try and quantify the last decade.

The last ten years by the numbers:
- 3 different places that we’ve lived together in three different cities: a town home, a third floor apartment and our current home.
- 3 of the most amazing girls in the world, objectively speaking. I’m totally not biased.
- 18,526 diapers and counting
- Too many earthquakes to count: 583 during one three week swarm in 2015, 6 months after we moved in; 347 in the last year.
- 1 tsunami.
- 1 furry friend forever in our hearts.
- 14 visits from the tooth fairy (and possibly a fifteenth one tonight!)
- Not 1 but 2 visits from a herd of feral pigs.
- Countless laughs.
- Zero moments I would have had it any other way.

There’s no one I’d rather shelter in place with. 14 days down, 37 to go.

I wouldn't mind if we never had another visit from a heard of feral pigs.

Chatted with the pest control guy about pigs (which are back after a two day hiatus) when he came for the gopher. According to him the city where his in-laws live did a controlled release of two tagged cougars to drive the pigs out.

I couldn't find a news article to confirm, but I couldn't resist sharing anyway.

Chatted with another neighbor about the pigs. Noticed he was no longer using the flashing light animal deterrent. Apparently that's because the pigs took/ate it.

Well this is a new one...
As seen from our back yard. Possibly an escapee, but (according to the internet) also possibly wild.
