Merry Christmas

Please forgive the lateness of this Christmas photo. The kids were bouncing off the walls Christmas Day and I lacked the energy to corral them for a photo.

Visiting Santa looks a little different this year.

Santa and globe are from a template purchased off of Etsy. My 2019 new years resolution was to get better at photo editing, so I inserted the photo of the girls myself. If any part of the image looks a little off, that's probably why 🙂

Dana's bedtime story of choice these days is Llama Llama Holiday Drama. She loves the last page with Llama Llama's stocking. When we reach that page I always ask her what she thinks Santa will put in her stocking. These are her three most recent answers:

- Cheese
- Pancakes with tons of syrup
- Dana

I can finally check "Put Halloween Decorations away" off my todo list, almost a full two weeks after I checked off "Set up first Christmas Tree". #priorities

I thought about putting up Thanksgiving decorations, but I'm currently grumpy with the holiday. It'll be a year since I last saw my family and I miss them.

Missed one

I held off setting up the Christmas tree as long as I could.

One more sleep!

I've been taking photos where the only light source is the Christmas tree for a few years now. Ever year I realize after the fact that I should have been using a tripod. Oh well, maybe next Christmas.
