Target: Would you like to save $1 by consolidating items in this order to ship in as few boxes as possible?
Me: Save money and better for the environment? You bet!
Target proceeds ships every item in it's own box.
Oh well, I tried.

I am once again feeling like online shopping is my super power now that the disinfecting wipes I purchased actually shipped! In the last month I've managed to get disinfecting wipes into my cart three times but the wipes sold out before I could complete checkout. Once, two weeks ago, I managed to get an order confirmation only for Costco to cancel my order the very next day.
Good thing I bought two and Target had the foresight to ship them in two separate boxes. 🤦â€â™€ï¸
Waited three weeks for this to come back in stock, sold out in two hours. Feeling disappointed, but less guilty about buying two when it was in stock! #PandemicShopping

Pandemic shopping is like a way less fun version of Black Friday. I’m checking store websites multiple times a day, but instead of hunting for great deals of fun new gizmos I’m buying the only brand of chicken noodle soup the kids eat at twice the normal price.

Buying legos brick by brick is highly addictive, especially if you view bargain hunting as a competitive sport.
“Ooo, carrot top part 4119479 is only 11 cents at this store, but it’s 6 cents at this other one!â€
I had 2 hours and $30 worth of fun last night. And, as a bonus, the kids are getting some new legos out of it.
Amazon emailed me to remind me there’s two weeks left until to Christmas, and to shop for my kids. I like how they’re pretending to not know I started Christmas shopping in September.

Which side of Sarah's personality will win out? The intensely frugal side that believes the camera body she wants will be $100 off for black Friday. Or the impatient photographer side whose afraid her camera will go from dying to dead and wants to take good pictures now!

A sign of frugality or just futility? I just contacted Amazon for a partial refund on a $7.03 order due to incorrect shipping count. (They gave it to me.)

Went Black Friday shopping today, eight days past my due date, for the sole purpose of seeing whether it would kick start labor. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

I have exactly $20 worth of merchandise I want to buy, and a $5 off of $25 purchase coupon. Mathematically there is no benefit I can gain from using the coupon, but I can’t stop searching for something that's at least $5. Behavioral Economics, you win again.
